Many 1st generation DSC radios need vessel position fix data in NMEA 0183 format to support their distress, safety and calling features. This kit reads NMEA 2000 GPS/GNSS information from the SeaTalk NG network and outputs NMEA 0183 sentences to support older DSC VHF radios.
